MUSC and the VA Medical Center are conducting a clinical trial to see if a dietary supplement may help Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and alcohol or drug abuse.
Have you experienced a traumatic event, such as combat, physical assault or rape? Do you find that you are still affected by the event? For example, do you sometimes have nightmares or unwanted memories of what happened? Do you avoid situations that remind you the traumatic event? Over the past 6 months did you have trouble controlling your alcohol or drug use?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in this clinical trial.
You will be compensated for your time and your information will be kept strictly confidential.
